KWES Apprentices Win Award

July 21st 2016

KWES – Kent Woodland Employment Scheme apprentices Josh and Kieran Gorman were jointly awarded the Woodreeve Trophy at the Kent County Show last week.

The Woodreeve Trophy is awarded to a young individual based in Kent for outstanding achievement within their learning and study of woodland and forestry related subjects.

KWES Chairman Allison Wainman said “we are delighted that two of our apprentices won this award and we hope this recognition will encourage others to pursue a career in forestry.”
